Brexit consequences

As part of leaving the EU, the United Kingdom has also left the European common market. There no longer is any free movement of goods from the EU to the UK, and that also goes for products from Mister Vee.

As far as Mister Vee was concerned it seemed the UK would be just like any other country outside the EU. Unfortunately this is not the case.
The UK now requires a company that ships to the UK to actually collect VAT for the UK treasury, on any order below a certain amount, GBP 135,-- in this case.

Now the sailing mad UK is (was?) and important market for Mister Vee but no where near important enough to warrant setting up a separate administration to collect the VAT on UK sales.

Because I was unsure on how to approach this matter I had disabled placing orders for delivery to the UK in the Mister Vee webshop.
In preparation of this newsletter I have enabled UK orders again.
