Under development: DIY windvane self steering Mister Vee WoodenB

Please tell us what you think of the ideas for the first flat pack windvane self steering system:

Mister Vee WoodenB

This system is made up of 8 or 10 mm marine plywood.
The individual parts need to be cut free from the bigger sheet they were cut in, to be stacked & glued using epoxy and then finished with epoxy and paint.

For easy alignment of the individual plywood parts during glueing, dowels will be used as locater pins.
The pendulum rudder is pre-shaped during milling and only needs to be sanded smooth.

Ready made plastic parts are included where wood is not appropriate.

If there is enough interest this system is intended to go in to production in autumn 2017 so customers can build during winter and fit in spring.

This system includes some of the running gear that is also part of Y&B.
